Philosophy

A good philosophy must serve a purpose. It's like a plan that helps you achieve your goal.

Don't judge a philosophical idea by how true it seems in relation to absolute cosmic reality. Judge instead how useful the idea is in relation to some practical goal.

Let's say a philosophy is like a plan or even a recipe. Often you can act spontaneously without a plan, and that can often give good results, at least for simple kinds of projects. But for really big projects, you need a detailed plan.

The goal of my philosophy is to build the AI. I think this is a grand and ambitious goal. Maybe the goal of most philosophers is to achieve happiness, which we could also understand as psychological stability or mental health. I think this is also a very challenging and worthwhile goal.
